So, I'm not one to make new year's resolutions. Not just because I'm a notorious procrastinator, though that certainly plays a part. Also, I gave up dieting a long time ago. I believe in "everything in moderation, including moderation." When it comes to eating, my various intolerance and allergies limit my choices enough. However, I recently began trying on outfits for my upcoming wedding. My chest size is 46". My gut size is 50". I somehow crept up to about 225 lbs. So I have decided that, if for nothing else, I don't want to have to shop at a Big & Tall store for my groom's outfit. |

I don't know about you, but Halloween is probably my favorite holiday. Sure, the meals for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and even Easter tend to be full-on meals, but Halloween grub is just so much fun to make and eat. Take this year. I am attending a party and I'm planning to take Blood Orange Sangria and some Vampire Cupcakes. I'm a fan of Chris Lester. Not only is he a talented writer and podcaster, a wonderful voice actor, and an all-around awesome dude, but also apparently he's also a mad scientist in the kitchen. In his latest blog entry, he shared the stream-of-consciousness that went into the creation of a recent meal. |

So I've wanted to put up a website for reviewing restaurants and sharing recipes for a long time. I blog my foodie adventures off and on, however, the procrastinator that I am, I just never got around to dedicating a site to it. |
